About Volthouse Electric
Volthouse Electric is a family-owned and operated electrical company based in Manchaca, Texas. Founded by Cory Shope, a Master Electrician (TECL 32423) who was born and raised right here in Manchaca, the company was built on a simple commitment: provide prompt, quality electrical services to Austin and the surrounding areas.
Cory started his career as an apprentice electrician in his early 20s and has developed deep expertise across residential, commercial, and solar electrical work. Together with co-founder Victoria Shope, they built Volthouse Electric into a company that treats every job - big or small - with the same level of care and professionalism.
Volthouse Electric is proudly partnered with IBEW Local 520 Union. That partnership means our electricians receive competitive wages, health insurance, pension, and annuity benefits. When our team is taken care of, our customers get better work.
We believe in giving back to the communities we serve. After Hurricane Harvey devastated Rockport, TX, our team volunteered their time and skills to provide disaster recovery electrical repairs to those in need. That spirit of service is at the heart of everything we do.

Co-founded Volthouse Electric alongside Cory. Helps manage operations for the family-owned business.
